I’m writing to you as the MOB (Mother of the Bride) to say a heartfelt thank you for making my daughter Renee’s wedding a resounding success.

I know Renee has written to you, but I wanted to add my congratulations. We were so lucky to have you as our celebrant. It was obvious how much you enjoy doing what you do, your heart and soul seemed to go into the day, from pinning on the groom’s button hole, and his attendants’ buttonholes, to ensuring that the entire bridal party had rehearsed and knew exactly what to do, without any hiccups.

Renee and Nathan utilised all the providers on your list of recommended wedding suppliers, as you said, gathered from the many the ceremonies you have conducted; the hairdresser, make up artist, florist, car service, photographer and video, string trio musicians, and they were so happy with all the results. It also saved such a lot of stress trying to find the right people, phoning around etc., and the quotes we received were competitive, and the results outstanding, and as the MOB and Chief Financier, I appreciated the costs without having to sacrifice the quality we were after!

As you know, Renee and Nathan wanted a fairly traditional service. You, however, with their blessing, injected some little pieces of humour regarding their courtship and beautiful readings into the ceremony, which broke the ice with the guests and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Your suggestions regarding readings etc, were invaluable.

Without exception, all the guests told me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I know that you were responsible for the majority of the lovely ambience on the day. The venue was lovely, (suggested by you), the food and service were great, but your ceremony set the whole tone and started everyone enjoying themselves.

Looking at the video of the wedding in the chapel, I noticed all the guests were smiling and riding along on the wave of this lovely day. I have heard some were even disappointed when the service ended! It seemed to join all the guests together in the spirit of love.

Andrew, the best man, is getting married in Hong Kong and has asked Renee if he could have a copy of their ceremony. Praise indeed! When two people decide to get married, the search for our life partner may be over, but the search to find just the right person to marry us begins.

Mark and I had met a few celebrants at various Bridal Expos, and while they seemed nice enough, they did not have the energy, passion or the sense of humour that we were looking for.

I knew within minutes of our initial phone conversation, that you were the celebrant we were looking for and, just had to have!

From the outset, your warmth, caring and sense of humour were so obvious, that I knew you would suit us perfectly.

When Mark and I met you for the first time, it was so evident that you genuinely love what you do, we knew that our ceremony was going to be even more special than we had hoped it could be.

We had so much fun at our rehearsal that it was hard to imagine how much more fun it would be on our wedding day.

But what an incredible ceremony we had. (I think it shows in our photos). It was filled with love and laughter and was delivered so beautifully by you, I cannot imagine a better ceremony being had by anyone, ever!

Our ceremony could not have been more perfect. Once again, your grace, your warmth, your relaxed attitude and your genuine love of what you do, contributed so greatly to making our special day, an absolute "Fairytale" wedding.

Every single one of our guest told us how wonderful you were, how much fun you were and what a lovely person you are.

In all the weddings that I have been to, I have never ever, heard anyone mention the celebrant, let alone pay so many compliments to them.

I must confess Ann, that I felt so very clever to have found you!

We are finally back from our honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, which Darren planned himself and kept it a surprise until we got to the airport, and we are getting used to life without a wedding to plan!

It is important to us that you know we were so pleased with everything. From the very first conversation I had with you on the phone I knew instinctively that you were going to be the celebrant for us.

You put me straight at ease about the whole thing and I had faith that with you there on the day performing our ceremony it was going to be an extremely important part of the day that I would not have to worry about.

The fact that we made the right choice was confirmed when we met you and you started guiding us through the process that was going to be our wedding day.

Your manual was a huge help for us to put our ceremony together. We were quite daunted about it all and had no idea where to start, but by having so much choice the whole thing was so personalised and so "us".

The end result was one of the most memorable ceremonies that our guests have ever attended, and a lifelong beautiful memory for us!

We could not have asked for a more perfect day, the rain held off and it was a dream come true, from my dress to the horse & carriage to the candle lighting and the doves, it was just everything we had envisaged.

Every single guest that we speak to has commented on what a lovely ceremony it was, and what a great time they had at our wedding, and a huge part of that credit is because of you and the way you performed our ceremony. Some have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I don't even remember if I got to say thank you on the day - a lot of it was a blur. Rev. Gary did his bits really nicely, I think it all worked out and us doing communion with Gary was a lovely ending to his part of the ceremony.

Martin and I selected Ann Dally to be our civil celebrant, and she was amazing.

Martin and I warmed to Ann's caring and friendly personality from the instant we met her. We knew straight away that she was "the one" to conduct our very special event.

I just wanted to touch base and thank you again for all of your help leading up to, and on our wedding day. We have had lots of wonderful comments back from our guests and they were really impressed with the ceremony and the vows, and thought it was a truly touching, memorable but relaxed approach!

Another lovely comment I've heard is that people were just expecting it to be another boring ceremony, but "when you exchanged vows, they were great. We knew then we could sit back, relax and it was going to be a fun evening!"

I must say that the ceremony wowed everyone, with just the right balance of formality and humour. Personally, the ceremony reflected our preference not to have too much fuss or be "over the top", but to still make it a memorable occasion.

The added touches of acknowledging those not present (i.e. my parents who had passed away), was particularly special for me. (In fact rather eerie, as the bellbirds at Springfield started singing at that time, and the sound of bellbirds always echoes around the grounds at the cemetery where my parents were laid to rest, so that almost set me off on the day!)

Ann, I would really like to express my appreciation for your help leading up to the wedding. Alex and I were impressed with the professional way you handled the arrangements, your willingness to incorporate our wishes into the format of the day, your advice, and your absolute attention to detail.

The words we were able to chose from your "bible" of phrases was also perfect allowing us to tailor the ceremony exactly the way we always dreamed our wedding ceremony would be.

When we first met Ann we knew that she was the celebrant for us. She was open, friendly and there was no pressure to choose her or to choose her that day.

After a very short discussion on the way home, we got in touch with Ann to organise our Ceremony. Ann provided us with everything we needed to write our Ceremony on our second visit, which is something that we had previously not been offered by any other celebrant.

While we were putting our ceremony together Ann was always available for advice.

When my father became seriously ill, Ann went out of her way to help us prepare a Commitment Ceremony in a short period of time. She also suggested that it would be nice to light a commitment candle on the day. When I mentioned that we had considered putting that in our wedding ceremony, Ann came up with the suggestion of the Roses.

Not only did the ceremony mean a great deal to us, but it also meant the world to my father who in the end did not make the journey to the wedding.

The Commitment Ceremony was all he talked about whenever anyone came over for next week. It brought him joy, knowing that he was there to witness our exchange of vows, even though they were not the official ones.

Throughout the process of us completing our ceremony, Ann approached us with the suggestion of including a short poem in memory of my father. Although I was unsure about the inclusion because of the effect that it might have on those present at the ceremony, after discussing it with Tom we both agreed that it should be there. In the end, it was a suggestion that I would not change for the world, and had it not been for Ann, there would have been no mention of my father during the ceremony at all.

On the actual day itself Ann, with her calming and relaxed nature, made the ceremony the joyful experience it is meant to be, rather than the bundle of nerves that we have heard people talk about.

Ann was not just there to perform a wedding that day, she was part of our family, and we thank her for being there to share such a joyful occasion with us. We also appreciate all the advice she provided for both ceremonies, and without her advice of the poem, candle and roses, our ceremonies would not have been what they were, and we sincerely thank her for that.

Both on our Wedding Day and afterwards we have had numerous people commenting on how beautiful and personal the wedding ceremony was. Several guests also remarked that it was the best Civil Ceremony that they have ever attended.

We met Ann at a wedding expo and found her warm and engaging, but most importantly, professional.

Ann has this amazing knack of making you feel extremely at ease with her efficient and thorough attitude throughout the ceremony preparation - it truly was second to none. Ann loans you an extensive manual wherein you choose the entire wording for your ceremony making it uniquely yours.

Sadly my beloved mum passed away six months before our wedding, so of course, I was sad she would not be present. However, Ann wrote two parts into our ceremony to celebrate her memory. One where my father pinned one of Mum's brooches onto my dress, and the other was a poem that Ann included which really summed up the relationship I had with her. Ann read this poem whilst I lit a candle in Mum's memory.

Dear Ann,

Mummy and Daddy are helping me with this letter to you because I don't know how to write yet - but they say I'm so clever that I will next year when I'm two.

They said I should thank you for my Baby Naming Day. I had the best time especially the part when all the pretty balloons went up into the sky. It was so cool. All the grown-ups made a big fuss with the candle ceremony.

Everyone took lots of pictures of me even though my dress got very yukky from my naming cake and when we played with the fairy bread and ice cream.

This photo of me was taken when mummy and daddy decided to change me that day because they wanted everyone to be able to see my cute face again. Do you like the halo that daddy put on my head? Mummy said sometimes it doesn't suit me but I don't know what that means.

Mummy and Daddy say that it was the most fun they've ever had, except when they got married, so I feel very special, and they said that you were the best Baby Naming lady they'd ever seen!

When Greg and I were looking for a Marriage Celebrant, we did not know where to start.

When I first saw the photo of Ann Dally on this site, she went straight to my call list.

Ann's photo looked warm and friendly with a feeling of family. Once I called Ann and spoke to her, this same feeling came out in her voice and I new that I was right on track.

When Greg and I went to meet with Ann, we felt very welcome and comfortable. After our initial conversation, Ann left the room briefly. I turned to Greg and said "I don't need to meet anyone else. I want Ann to do our Ceremony" Greg agreed instantly as he had the exact same feeling.

The Manual Ann gave us to choose our vows from was exceptional and helped us to express exactly how we felt on the day. The paperwork Ann assisted us with made it easy for us to concentrate on the vows and not the legal side of marriage. (Not to mention the fantastic Name Changing Pack that made that task so much easier).

Ann was wonderful to travel to our ceremony destination for our rehearsal and was very clear in helping our entire wedding party know exactly what they needed to do on the day. She also had some very helpful tips for the day that we just would not have thought of, but turned out to be quite necessary. (Like the handkerchief my tearful husband required as he watched me walk down the isle.) Luckily for him I also had a handkerchief in case things got very emotional (hidden in a very special spot). This reduced the room to laughter when he put it back where I got it from. Ann's ability to go with the flow of this unexpected act was as if we had planned it, and the ceremony continued without skipping a beat.

It did not even bother us that the weather had taken a turn for the worst and the ceremony needed to be moved inside.

Ann! - Greg and I would like to take this opportunity to send you our deepest gratitude and thanks. The ceremony you performed was beautiful. Your loving and warm nature is heard in every word you say and is heart felt. You are such a special lady to us and we will always remember you and the wonderful job you did on the ceremony and leading up to the wedding helping us to make our wedding day the best day of our lives (so far).

Be prepared for the day we call you to say. "Ann, we are having a baby! Please honour us by performing our Baby's naming ceremony."

We had a surprise wedding!

I found Ann in the phone book of all places. She was the only celebrant I called because when I spoke to her I instantly built a rapport with her.

Not only did Ann help us through the wedding process, she also helped us write our "surprise" wedding invitation and plan for our "surprise" wedding.

Toward the lead up to the wedding Ann was always available to talk to and on several occasions she was able to settle any fears or anxiety we were having about the day.
